If you are joining me from Heather Summers Blog...then welcome :)  If not you don't want to miss out, so be sure to make it back to her.
This weeks project is our face book projects as well.  I used the six-sided sample and stamped with daffodil delight and pool party.  The base is Baked brown sugar  card stock.
Here are a few close ups...

Now be sure to hop on over to Jane Lee's Blog where you can check out her amazing work!

July Club

I had my July regular club right before convention(which by the way was a blast!)  I now am home and have to come up with what we will be doing for my advanced class.
Here is the watercolored card we made.  The hostess Judy loves to watercolor, so I tried to make sure she got to do a little!

Then we made this little box (it had pink and white gummy bears inside)   Cute and quick!  Perfect for a teacher, coworker or neighbor.

Vintage Butterfly

I try really hard to give a mix up of style in each class I teach.  Which is sometimes hard if you are stuff in a style.  Sometimes I feel like all my cards look alike!
I did this card at my last cards and cocktails.  I love this set and tend to set it aside because I have so many new ones.  I have been forcing myself to get out the old ones I love.

Mosaic

So these Mosaics are going crazy!  They are everywhere.  I have to say the quatrefoil has always been one of my favorite shapes/patterns.  It's my bedding in my room, on pillows and fabric I have.
So here is a very simple take in the Mosaic Madness set!  I did this card at my parks and rec class, and I tend to keep those simple, since there is a variety of stamping levels.  I am headed to the Stampin' Up! Convention today.  It is the 25th anniversary, so I can't wait to see all the excitement!  I will do my best to post from there, but have a few cards I will be showing you this week just in case:)   Thanks for stopping by!

Artisan Wednesday Wow

Hey Everyone!  Hope you are enjoying the hop so far!
Did you just come from Heather Summer's blog?  Isn't she great!
Here is my project this week.  I used the Chevron embossing folder to create the soft sky and wisteria wonder chevrons.
The dictionary page is stamped in soft suede on very vanilla card stock.

Thanks for stopping by...hope you like it:)  Now be sure to check out the oh so talented Jane Lee's Blog!

Artisan Wednesday Wow

Hey Everyone!  It is hard to believe my Artisan Design Team duties are almost over:(  I have gotten a few emails asking if I was going for Artisan again this year.  I decided not to, as I was pretty darn pregnant when the entries were due and it was hard enough to stay motivated on my current stamping commitments. Plus on top of it knew my family was going to be one more...I thought the monthly requirements might be too much!  So maybe next year:)
Anyways enough about me...and on to the hop!
If you didn't just come from Heather Summer's blog, be sure to make it back there!  She is incredible.
Here is the little card I came up with for this week.  I have been struggling with my creative juices lately...hoping they find me again soon!  So this one is a bit on the sweet but simple side.

Now on to the amazing Jane Lee!  Thanks for stopping by!

Advanced Card Class part 2

Hey Everyone! So here is the second card we made at my new class "advanced cards and cocktails"

Advanced Card Class

So this past month I started a new class "advanced cards and cocktails"  You don't need to be an advanced stamper to join, just be willing to do a little more work:)
Each time we meet we do four cards...two of each two styles.  Here is one of the cards we made last time...
The dress top was embossed and sponged over.  To create the skirt we took small strips of paper and with a bone folder we broke down the fibbers in them so they separated into two thinner strips of paper.  Taking each strip we "ruffled" it into the skirt:)

Paper Pumpkin

This months Paper Pumpkin class was a bit of a challenge.  I opened my box and thought oh cute!  Then relized that the cards had holes in them and wasn't really sure what I was going to do about that!  I needed to come up with a few ideas out of the box and here is what I came up with...
decorating one of our chevron bags
 two 3x3 cards

 a gift card holder

the original card and a one with a twist
Can't wait to see what is in this months box!
If you haven't signed up for paper pumpkin yet!  Be sure you do before the 10th to get this months kit!  Click here to sign up now:)

June club Cards

So I know I havent been great about posting lately.  I've gotta be honest...I am tired:)  I will try to do a little better though!
So last month(yep, June) I made these two cards with my two clubs.  This top one was for my standard club.  I love the way these colors work together!
So I decided to stick with what was working for advanced club.  The card below is the one we made, it is an easel card, similar to the above one but with a step up.
And here is a close up of the flowers and chalk talk stamp.

Thanks for stopping by!
